June

June, sneaky month.  (Insert here your favorite excuse/apology for not being around as often as I would like to). Moving on. I'm sharing two of the photos that I developed a couple of weeks ago. The Lomo people already sent the physical copies my way. I love paper photos. The first one are some videotapes abandoned in Stokey back in December. The second one was me, with a disposable camera in my flat in Buenos Aires... at least one year ago. Sneaky year.

I'll keep this post short because I'm on my way to a very interesting workshop about emerging digital materiality in the Wellcome Trust. I'd promise that I'll share my insights about it here, but I don't trust myself anymore.

Caribbean Blues

Last week, finally I took my films (some, very old ones) to the Lomography Shop in Spitafields Market to be developed. I mention them in what it would appear to be a sponsored post but it's not (I wish), just because I think the service it's been brilliant. The physical photos are yet to be send to my house but in the meantime they sent me a link with all my photos digitalised and ready to be downloaded to my computer or uploaded to my Lomo home. I think is awesome!

Anyway, let's start this rainy blue Monday with some memories from happier blues back in Los Roques this January.

El Retiro

Photos from one sunny afternoon in the park El Retiro that included a funny mini trip on the boats with my wonderful friend Susie Lomovitz who snapped some cool analogue photos with her Olympus Pen EE-2. Looking forward to see those and to share it with you.
