Bye Bye American Pie

"Not Cruel Enough". Barbara Kruger.

"Your misery loves company". Barbara Kruger.

 "Tulsa". Larry Clark.

Untitled (fragment). Jean-Michel Basquiat.

"Living Series". Jenny Holzer.

Yesterday I visited this amazing exhibition in the Malba called Bye Bye American Pie that shows the  works of seven amazing American contemporary artists: Barbara Kruger, Larry Clark, Nan Goldin, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Jenny Holzer, Cadi Noland and Paul McCarthy.

The exhibition was curated by Phillip Larrath-Smith and it is really a unique opportunity to see (and feel) all this art pieces in the same space and at the same time. The atmosphere created it is very special, because all the photos, paintings and installations seem to be delicately connected in order to tell a story (our story) that is both beautiful and decadent. It is definitely a very moving and inspiring display.

You have until June 4th to go and see it, so if you happen to be in Buenos Aires, don't miss it!
