Cartes postales de Normandie: la randonnée

This is French Normandy, a little bit north from Le Havre. It's not easy to put into words how wonderful this place is... for me at least, I wish there was a little more of a poet in me.

These photos were taken during one of the walks we made from Vaucottes sur mer to Etretat and back. Etretat is one of the most famous little towns in Haute-Normandie because of its cliffs, les falaises. I'll post photos of the town (:

That little rock in the middle of the sea (third and last photo) we discovered that it was the switch that turn on the sun. Seriously.

The Capital Ring

If you live in London and you don't know the Capital Ring yet, you're definitely missing out. These are photos from two weeks ago when we walked the 6th section, known for being maybe the most beautiful one, from Wimbledon Park to Richmond.

In Richmond Park we got to see some stags and everything, but the whole unlocking my phone and open the camera app dynamic was too slow to capture them, specially because the encounter was fairly brief as we were in a Fenton moment with my friend's dogs Kasper and Woody. Yes, that happens in real life.

Hope you have a lovely Sunday! x

Paris Mon Amour

Of all the times I've been to Paris, this time I liked this one the most. I think winter suits her very well, or maybe -as my friends say- I was incredible lucky and enjoyed the best December blue days.

Some photos of the second day when we walked around major -and forever amazing- Parisian cliches.

Happy winter solstice everyone! x

Instax Lesson

So far my experience with Instax has been incredibly good, I love that there is an alternative to the good old Polaroids that I loved so much. However, when mixed with snow, gloves, really low temperatures and my excitement about winter and snow, this is what happened.

I reckon that the chemicals in the bottom leaked and that -this is the lesson- you should keep your photos facing up while developing. Is whether that or some sort of message from outer space that I am too silly to understand. Anyway I kind of like them.

The snow is all gone by now, the sun is shinning and the sky is blue. I definitely should try to shoot a couple new Instax today. Happy Sunday everyone! x

Saturday

The winter keeps being really generous when it comes to sunny, beautiful days :)

Now I work a little while listening to this playlist by PeriodicMusik.

Palermo & Roque

This past Wednesday I joined my friends Isabelle and Martín around the always changing Palermo streets in the first photo shoot of their lovely Roque Bags. The day was really cool, and really cold, and ended up with all of us having a nice cup of warm coffee at Isa's. I had a Ristretto, the one George Clooney should be according to the TV spot. Gotta get myself on of those machines!

The Roque collection is ready (and wonderful), and while we wait for the photos, you can like them on Facebook if you want, and if by any chance you are reading this in Zürich, you can go and visit their cozy showroom in 77 Konradstrasse :)

Have a nice Friday! x

Múm Mood

Do you remember that LP from Múm called Yesterday Was Dramatic, Today is OK. Well, for me right now is exactly the same but the other way around. Yesterday was OK, today kind of sucks. Anyhow, I like to think that tomorrow should/can/will be terrific, right?

The photos were taken yesterday while walking from my landlord lady's lovely house to my home sweet home. It was a beautiful radiant winter day. Hope you like them. And happy weekend y'all! x
